did not cover something that I thought should be

My dog was dx with entropian. But several months later he was dx with a different eye probelm and the insurance would not pay.When I received the email about not paying, they didn't mention the dog by name and there were numerous mis-speelings. Makes me wonder how careful they are with details when they can't even spell.

Great company

Great Communication

I just filed my first claim, and it was incredibly easy. I was almost shocked when I found out that you CAN actually get a REAL PERSON on the phone. They even answer e-mails usually in the same day. Their communication is excellent. I think I pay maybe $5 to $10 more per month then I would at one of the other companies. To me it's worth it not to be trapped in voicemail hell, or have to talk an automated system.

You not olny paid quickly &you cared for us

Embrace has been just wonder to us. Claims are paid quickly and we have never had any problems getting any help we need from you. I was most impressed by how much you all seemed to care about "Storm". As you know his injuries were terrible. I remember especially the e-mail from different people at Embrace with words of concern about him and of encouragement and care for how we(his Mom & Dad) were doing. Its been a long haul, but Storm is doing good. Thank all of you. You are really on the ball!

Two Pets!

I had to find good coverage at an affordable price for my two beloved pets! The claim service was excellent in turn around time. On top of this, there has not been one time that customer service had not only been professional, courteous and knowledgable, but pleasant and genuinely concerned about your pets care and well-being. (No, I am not an employee, just very satisfied!)

Claim

This is my first claim to Embrace. My dog, Lilly, came down with a bleeding condition which was diagnosed at colitis and I was pretty happy with the claim process. I did, however, have to scan all of her previous medical documents to Embrace, which I had not been told I would have to do when purchashing the plan. I also did not realize that medications to treat the condition were not covered, so I am still $100 away from her deductible. I also did not receive my response in the stated 15-day time period, but upon writing to my agent, I received an immediate response. The claim result was easy to read and easy to file away electronically.

So pleased!

I have all three of my cats insured with Embrace for the last two years. While we haven't had any major medical events (thank goodness) we have had a few minor scares. Embrace has been great every time. They keep me updated on every step of the claims process. They are easy to reach. I feel like I have my own personal rep who answers my emails quickly. I've never had a problem with a refund and I'm so happy we are covered through Embrace.

Fantastic!

We have two dogs who have unfortunately had a number of health issues and we have been so fortunate to have Trupanion as our insurance company. They have been a life saver (literally) in helping us financial cope with the challenges our dogs numerous health issues have cost in the last 5 years. They are fast, efficient, and true to their word about what they will cover. Our dogs may not have made it through their health challenges if trupanion wasn't there helping us. We would highly recommend this company to anyone seeking insurance for a beloved pet.

Glad I Have Pet Insurance

I researched what people said about their pet insurance and I picked Embrace over 2yrs ago and never filed a claim. The nay sayers said why do you have pet insurance? I didn't want to have to decide between having to treat a dog or dealing with a big bill. Recently Baxter my 3yr old dog has sores on his feet that need a biopsy. So far the insurance has covered everything it said it would. It has been worth every cent.

ehhhhhh....It's OK, but not great.

I have had this insurance for several years and used it recently for the 1st time for one of my cats. I will say that you really need to understand all of the fine print. I was reimbursed a portion but not all minus the $100 deductible. It was decided that my vet charged more than what they thought was a reasonable amount and just did not pay some of the costs. I must admit that I thought my policy paid 100% after the deductible, but when I went back and read it, it is an 80/20 split. However, I think it is wrong to not reimburse the full 80% the vet charged. I have no control over how much the hospital charges. Basically, if you add up what you pay in premiums over time, you are simply putting your pet's health expenses on a monthly payment plan and paying in advance. And more than likely you will end up paying more out of pocket all together. There are way too many limits and exclusions.
