Happy being a part of the Healthy Paws family!

Being a pet parent can bring so much joy into your life, but in the blink of an eye , you can be faced with a medical emergency and the tough and expensive choices you must make to save your pet. Having been in this position, with thousands in veterinary medical debt in the past, we have chosen to insure our dogs. We have had four pets insured by another pet insurance company but this time, I did more research and had more choices. We are so happy we chose Healthy Paws. In the past month, our puppy was faced with two medical emergencies. We submitted our claims, had an immediate response, and processed claims in days, not weeks. Again, we couldn't be happier with our choice to insure our precious Teegan with Healthy Paws.

BEST INVESTMENT

If anyone knows a thing about Dalmatians, they know they have issues with bladder stones. Well, my 2 year old Dalmatian had to be taken to the ER, his primary vet, and a specialist all within two weeks. I have the highest coverage for my pup and instead for paying $1000+ out of pocket, I received reimbursement of 90% of his costs. The claim process is super easy and quick! After I submitted all his claims, a customer service representative reachEd out and asked how he was currently doing. I had Nationwide health insurance before Healthy Paws and they were trash. EVERYTHING was a predisposed conditioned. Healthy Paws is very reasonable. I recommend them to all pet owners!

Made me feel like my dog and my family didn’t matter.

Worst experience I have ever had with an insurance company, and that includes auto insurance which is saying something. Paid my premiums for a year, COVID-19 pandemic hit and I get notification that my premiums are increasing by over $6/mo and my benefits are being decreased substantially. Annual benefit decreased by $4k most notably. Went back and forth with customer service who didn’t listen to what I was saying and just regurgitated prepared statements. Then, proceeded to blame their underwriters. When that failed they blamed my state, and told me to reach out to state policy makers because it was their fault. When the rest of the country is looking out for each other and lending a helping hand to their neighbors Figo raised premiums, slashed benefits and blamed everyone but themselves. Please think about that before you give your business to a company charged with helping your family through difficult times.
