Best Pet Insurance Out There!
Excellent pet insurance. Very easy to use and place a claim. Claims are processed very quickly. You are able to call and speak to a representative, which is wonderful. I love the fact that you have options regarding the cost. Covers many claims that others do not. And the fact that they do not have a lifetime cap is important to me. My big boy, Tripp, has placed a number of claims. Thank you Healthy Paws for giving me peace of mind about my dogs’ health costs.

My monthly premium was increased 20% for a healthy 2 years old dog. It's a second increase. ($35 to $39 to $44). Are you ok guys? called the representative and she told me it's happening because of increased amount of claims within the state and offered to increase my deductible. Are you serious guys?

Don't believe the 5 star reviews for…
Don't believe the 5 star reviews for this company. They asked me get my dogs a recent examination, which I did...cost me $250. Then I paid $120/nth for insurance and submitted a claim for an $80 ear infection and an allergy shot. They denied the claim stating it was a pre-existing condition. They ignored the $250 exam from months earlier I submitted when I enrolled my dogs...and it means that no future ear infections or allergy will be covered. So in 4 months I'm out of pocket $1,000 plus aggravation. Save your $$ and pay the premium into a separate bank account, you will be way ahead in the long run.

I can’t express how grateful I am to PetsBest. First of all, it’s affordable for me each month. Like most people, I’m not made of money but my cat is my baby and I wanted him to be covered if he ever needed it. I work in animal welfare and I know things happen all the time, sudden illnesses, unexpected injuries, even just kitty colds develop. These things just happen and I wanted to be prepared for when they did. Even if you do everything right for your pet, health problems will still arise, they just do. Well 6 months into having this coverage, we needed it. My sweet cat swallowed a piece of one of his toys and it created a blockage in his stomach/intestine. I was worried beyond belief, and knowing emergencies are expensive made it even worse. But I double checked my policy and saw my plan covered emergency expenses. I put the costs on a credit card, knowing I’d be reimbursed later on, and I was able to focus on the well being of my baby. Filing a claim couldn’t be more simple, you literally just take a pic of your receipts and upload it, I did it all on my phone. Within 3 weeks, I was sent a reimbursement check that covered 90% of what I paid at the ER. I couldn’t be more grateful to PetsBest. And I’m happy with myself for choosing to go with them. My cat is doing amazing now. He is only left alone with toys that he can’t chew up, lol. Knowing he is covered for the future helps me sleep easier at night. I plan on adding the wellness plan to my policy when it renews. It costs a little more a month but it is so worth it. I joke and call myself the unofficial spokesperson for this company because I tell everybody about it! I recommend it to everyone I know who has pets. I literally forced my sister and my mom to get coverage for their pets. I told them they won’t be sorry and neither will you!! Thank you PetsBest ♥️

After researching multiple pet insurance companies, it seemed Prudent Pet was the best option for my pet. This became even clearer when I called and spoke with Monica. She was very helpful and was happy to answer any questions I had and clear up any confusion I had. Feeling like I made the best option going with Prudent Pet!

Major injury to neck and back after previous successful back injury.
My awesome Parker is a great dog and my best friend, but has had a rough last two years! He threw out a disc in his back almost two years ago, causing total paralysis in his back legs, which required major surgery to five of his vertebrae/discs. The operation was very successful and Healthy Paws covered almost everything at 80%. That was awesome, since we could not have afforded to bring my best friend back without Healthy Paws. Sadly, after returning almost to his original happy and active self, we were involved in a major truck accident going off into the woods on black ice a month ago, where he was thrown into the back of the seat and lay helplessly paralyzed upside down on the floor. I gently got him out and wrapped him up in survival blankets in the snowy and remote woods (at 18 degrees it was cold!) while we waited for help. The truck was totaled, so some friends gave me a ride to rent a car and I rushed him to the nearest First Pet Animal hospital, and then to the same surgical center he had had his back surgery at. Miraculously, he's once again recovering on medication and physical therapy, and so far without additional surgery on the injured cervical vertebrae. I just deposited the second reimbursement check from Healthy Paws, and they once again covered almost all the costs at the promised 80%. They've been incredibly responsive and financially there for me (and Parker!), and have shown genuine interest in Parker's recovery each time. We couldn't have afforded to help my best friend without them, returning him once again to an active and happy life, and I'm very grateful. Of all the financial decisions I've made in life, Healthy Paws has been one of my best!

I just recently purchased this policy for my dogs so I've not had to use it & hopefully I don't have to in the future but so far they've been great being very informative pros and cons between policies and helpful when choosing between competitors or the other companies. I like that they offer the accidental and not just the illness, it worked better for my budget having so many dogs.

Trupanion has helped me to be the best dog-mom I can be
I have had Trupanion for many years for my 2 sweet dogs, one of which recently passed away. Trupanion has been there for them, with no hassles or questions re: submitted claims, for congestive heart failure, allergies and orthopedic surgery. I 100% recommend them to anyone who loves their pets and wants to make sure that they can afford to be there for them no matter what.
