once the insurance and pre-existing and covered expenses are established it works pretty well. My only issue is that it seems to be taking longer and longer for reimbursement. originally had a turnaround of about 1 week, now it's several. if there are that many claims now and so backed up, they should hire more reviewers. sometimes the settlement of a claim can make a difference as to how to proceed medically as well as financially.

We've had Cora for three months. Since we got her, we've had to submit a few claims. Each one has been quickly processed, and we've received a check ASAP. I've recommended it to several of my coworkers already!

I Love Nationwide
Nationwide is offered through my employer which is great. Submitting the claims on the app are easy just take a picture of the detailed receipt and the reason for the visit. The response time is no more than a week and I love the direct deposit option. It is also helpful with preventive heart worm and flea and tick pills those can be pretty pricey with 90% reimbursement its awesome

Thank God for you. My gorgeous shepherd Luke had collapsed because of crushed discs. He was able to have his surgery because of you. He was able to get a wheel chair because of you. He’s able to have acupuncture because of you. He’s one happy camper because of you. I am unbelievably grateful because he is my best friend. Nationwide is the absolute best decision I have made!
I purchased Nationwide's pet insurance when my dog was only a puppy, the absolute best decision I have made in regards to my pet. I don't know where to start. They have left me feeling secure and like Annie (my dog) is taken care of. Their 24/7 vetHotline has saved us a couple times from going to the emergency vet and also assured is to when we need to take her in. The hotline and the insurance has given me a peace of mind I did not think I would have. It has allowed me to take care of Annie, make sure she has all the preventative care, and care for when she is sick or injured, all while removing the financial stress. I would (and have) recommend Nationwide pet insurance to ANYONE! I will also be purchasing it for any future pet.

Quick with denials
When you deny a condition that was diagnosed AFTER insurance was started, it makes me wonder if your insurance is worth it. I’m debating canceling since you aren’t covering any of the issues that my dog has.
