5 stars for Healthy Paws - excellent service & coverage
We have been insured by Healthy Paws for 2 years. We’ve got 2 cats and a dog and our experience has always been nothing short of 10 stars. Healthy paws make filing claims really easy, and the majority of the time claims are settled within a day or so. Their customer service team are easy to get a hold of (I’ve never waited more than a few minutes to speak with someone) and they genuinely care about the pets that they cover. We had a tragedy fall on us recently when our eldest cat Nelson was hit by a car. He ended up needing surgery for a shattered pelvis and a fractured foot, and suffered a couple of complications in the weeks following. Of all the worries that we had, one thing that we did not have to worry about was his coverage. Healthy Paws covered the majority of the bills and made the whole process as easy as possible. They even sent me a follow up email a few weeks later asking how he was doing. Thankfully, he’s making great steps in his recovery and should be back to full strength in the next few months. Nationwide takes the worry out of having a dog!
My claims are processed so quickly, and when I have a question the nationwide representatives are so friendly and concerned. Veterinary costs in my part of the country are probably higher than they are just about anywhere else, but I am not willing to compromise on the quality of care Nakita receives. Because Nakita is insured through nationwide, I am able to get her thoroughly checked out whenever there is a problem.

My fur babies have been covered for over 15 years with ASPCA insurance. They go way beyond just a pet insurance. When my babies have died they call and send sympathy cards. Great company.
