Appeal/claims does not return phone…
Appeal/claims does not return phone calls to my Veterinarian. Currently 3 weeks trying to clear up the issue with the claim. Do the individuals reviewing the claims have any Veterinary experience? If they did and could read the patient history, then maybe they would be able to understand that the part of the surgery Trupanion considers elective, was not elective. The neuter was necessary to insure this condition does not happen again. The testicles are the reason for the condition, enlarged prostate caused the perineal hernias. So would I refer this company, at this time no. Your premiums are costly and the service is less than acceptable. I'm sure the 6 plus years of premiums that I have pay would cover this surgery. I would advise people to pay a "premium" to a savings account and save money for Veterinary emergencies versus working with your company. Hind sight is 20/20, and I would do it differently next dog.

TRUPANION is a life saver!
TRUPANION has been a litteral life saver. My Labrador has had two very expensive knee surgeries that I would never have had the money to spend especially with the Covid 19 pandemic.
