WONDERFUL Support
I needed help setting up a new plan for my cat's insurance since her old plan only covered illness & injury. So, I went through the process of canceling the old one and starting the new one with another super helpful support technician. Once the old one was canceled, I was connected with another technician to set up the new full-covered plan. However, I did not know much about the new plans, how they worked, the pricing, etc. I was connected with Steve and he was super helpful, shout-out to him! I wanted to leave this review to explain how easy it was to go through this whole process and how much I love this insurance! Steve was the real star here though, he was kind, welcoming, helpful, and very thorough when explaining the individual plans to me! I would absolutely recommend this insurance to anyone, it truly was such a great experience. Through their easy sign-ups of plans, welcoming staff, & quick responses! Thank you so much MetLife Pet Insurance!!!

Rates increased and checking account debited w/out agreement
I've been a customer of Healthy Paws for a few years, with no problems. I was paying $139/month for my two dogs. In Jan. 2026, all of a sudden my checking account was debited for $182.66; then on 3/3, debited for $348.39, and for that same amount again on 3/29 and 4/29. I never agreed to an increased premium of any amount, least of all a more-than-doubling of my rate. An increase of that percentage without agreement is unconscionable. I requested a refund of the overages, but was refused. I canceled my account with them, and would never do business with them in the future. (They have over 200 complaints with the BBB.)
