STAY AWAY FROM TRUPANION

Don't, I repeat, don't use this company. They are a scam. I signed up 2 weeks after getting my puppy and about a week later in what was no doubt my overly protectiveness I had her evaluated for what I thought was a UTI, it wasn't. But Trupanion used that to deny a future , actual UTI diagnosis saying it was a preexisting condition during the waiting period after you sign up. Preexisting??? She wasn't even diagnosed with one in the prior situation. Do yourself a favor, save your money in a savings account. You will probably be better off. At a minimum, find another provider. So because I was an overly protective new puppy parent and brought her in for a urinalysis for a UTI (which by the way I did not seek reimbursement) and it came back negative, she is not eligible for UTI coverage EVER in her life!!! See how insane that is??
