Did not receive email that to renew…
Did not receive email that to renew insurance for the year I would have to call. On website said I was covered to 2026 when I filed a claim. Apparently that was just in a 30 day window. Company would not honor the 90% plan i had because it ran out.

Stay away from
I had a policy with embrace for two years. All of my first year claims were denied. In my second year my dog unfortunately had breast cancer removed, embrace covered $1100. On the third year renewal after only paying out $1100 in two years, embrace TRIPLED my annual premium. It was fine and dandy when they were collecting my money without paying claims but then the second they had to cover something they price gauged me. Cancelled same day.

The review and turn around time of processing the claim was quick this time. My experience with past submissions was waiting 5-7 days for the claim to be reviewed and processed.

Do not recommend them
I do not recommend them for pet insurance. The whole communication is non existent. They have lack of customer sevice. The lack of knowledge is disappointing. You pay for the insurance and they when it comes times to use it they give you the run around. They do not tell you what is going on. It took over 3 weeks and yet with all the information denied my claim. They did not read all the reports just focused on the what they wanted to. When I reached out to them to discuss i was told that it was already denied and nothing I could do. I am so disappointed in this company. Now we are stuck because anywhere else is preexisting. I am still looking to find one and if I do I will be leaving this insurance and lot looking back. If you want good pet insurance this is not it.

Very straightforward process for submitting claim. Responsible and respectful requests for missing information. Immediate processing of claim once I got my cat’s records to you.

Not great claims experience and customer support
My first claim with this company after having their insurance for 3 years. When I tried to submit a claim for a covered medication, it was denied because they claimed the documentation was incomplete. And they requested documentation which would be impossible to have since I didn't purchase the medication from the vet (the vet didn't carry the medication), so I had to get it from a pharmacy. This seems like a typical thing that would happen, but it doesn't seem to be a use case that their claims system is built for. This is really disappointing and confusing. I'll try again, but its kind of annoying to spend on this time on something that should be a bit more straightforward.
