Superb help for our Rattlesnake bite crisis
I was always comforted by the idea that I had pet insurance and of course used the wellness benefits for their vaccinations and flea treatments, but Embrace really stepped up two weeks ago when Gemma, one of my Brittany’s was bitten by a baby rattlesnake- that we never saw! That set off a cascade of Emergency room visits, antivenin infusion, ICU care, meds, as well as rattlesnake vaccine for our other Britt. Our reimbursements were prompt. The EOBs easy to understand. Did you see that this occurred TWO WEEKS AGO!!!! I have been a USAA member for 47 years, and an Embrace enrollee for the past 7 years. All I can say is Thank you, I have recommended Embace to all of my neighbors friends and of course my family

Unreasonably long waiting period!!! They won't cover your pet for 30 days!
Buyer Beware: To anyone considering Trupanion I would suggest to look for an insurance company with a shorter waiting period. Our puppy caught kennel cough 26 days after starting his insurance policy, and we ended up with more than $1000 in bills, as Trupanion considers this a preexisting condition within their waiting period of 30 day. Most other insurance companies waiting period is only 14 days. Among them are https://www.mypeppermint.ca/, https://www.petsecure.com/, https://www.petassure.com/, https://www.petfirst.com/, https://www.petsplusus.com/ - In fact - I have yet to find another pet insurance company with a 30 day waiting period for illnesses. BEWARE

Trupanion is a Lifesaver
Trupanion has been reliable, prompt and helpful with several claims I have had for my little dogs. Two dogs have had claims for several thousand dollars, and they have been paid exactly as I expected them to be based on the plan I had chosen. The money was deposited directly in my checking account very quickly and there were no hassles or questions about the claim.

I have had other insurance companies…and prefer Trupanion - hands down!
I have had other insurance companies for my dogs over the years. I wish I had found Trupanion much sooner. They have very caring and compassionate people working the front lines for people in very stressful situations, and it helps to alleviate some of the worries so you can focus on your animal who needs you. I don't think folks could go wrong by using Trupanion.

We have 3 dogs insured with Trupanion and couldn’t be more satisfied. Claims are processed promptly and our check is mailed to us right away. A true peace of mind
We've been with Trupanion for about 8 years now. I can never express my true feeling on how very much I appreciate Trupanion for being there when we need you the most. Our loving 11 years old Maltese Mixed, Butter, recently had multiple surgeries in the past two years. Without the great care and services from Trupanion, we wouldn't be able to make a vivid decision and move forward on taking care of her health and wellness.
