I’ve tried several pet insurance…
I’ve tried several pet insurance companies over the years, but none really felt right so I kept changing. After doing some research a few years ago, I decided to go with Spot and I’m really glad I did. One thing that stood out was their willingness to cover older pets, which isn’t easy to find. Overall, their plans, pricing, coverage, and customer service have been great, and I’ve been very satisfied with my experience so far.

BUYER BEWARE BUYER BEWARE!!!
BUYER BEWARE I insured my cat at 3 months old for $77/mth. On my first renewal, 1 year later (my cat is only 15 months old) they are raising my premiums to $110. This is a 41% increase on the very first renewal on a very young cat. I have not made any claims for him at all. I spoke to Trupanion and they assured me that they are entitled to raise the premiums once a year for as much as they think they can suck out of my wallet. I will never work with this pathetic company again. EDIT : NEVER WORK WITH THIS SCAM COMPANY! Many reports of them doing this to other people, raising the premiums by ridiculous amounts at renewal time. Shameful!
