Goodbye Embrace

I am so disappointed with these last two claims that we just submitted within brace. It's very sad because our beginning with you was very good. Number one our first complaint is how long everything took number two we are very disappointed in the miscommunication between embrace and our veterinarian. Our veterinarian was at fault with some of the information provided however I feel that your company just did not advocate for us and we pay a pretty good amount for our insurance. Number three I'm very very very disappointed that no matter how many times we've called you on the phone you still have the wrong diagnosis for cozy and you closed the claim. The diagnosis code is not for loss of appetite we did not take her into the vet for that. We took her in for a possible neck injury. She was prescribed pain pills and that's it. We have decided to cancel and we're very disappointed.

My dog Jackson had his ACC's replaced. Both dogs had a checkup and tests done at the vet. all clams were processed fast. When I contacted the ASPCA the staff were very knowable.

Well Worth Having!!!!

Embrace has been Excellent in covering claims. I have a 4 year old boxer and all doctors visit to check-up on anything unusual has been covered without issue. I also love that Embrace covers breed specific issues. I recommend Embrace to all my family members with pets!

Fantastic Insurance

I have had ASPCA Pet Insurance since my English Bulldog was a puppy. Unfortunately, English Bulldogs can have a lot of issues. ASPCA Insurance takes the monetary stress out of an already stressful situation! Nothing is worse than having a sick dog and not having to worry about making decisions based on financial constraints is incredible helpful! My last reimbursement came within 3 days of submission of the claim!

Healthy Paws is awesome!!

Healthy Paws is fast, reliable and super easy to use. I highly recommend this company. I just use their app to send in my claims, no long, tedious forms to fill out, just a photo of your receipt and your reimbursement comes in the next two days.

Exceptional. Pet and Owner Friendly!

I switched from Pets Best to Healthy Paws and have had nothing but excellent service since. My Labrador Milo is now almost 10 and as he has got older, he has needed more medical attention. However, unlike Pets Best, Healthy Paws has not hiked my premiums exponentially after a single claim. The claim process is so quick and easy. No more filling in forms. It's a simple upload of the paid invoice and Healthy Paws do the rest. The turnaround is quick, there are seldom questions and they even reach out to the vet for clarification and any additional medical records they need to support the claim. I'm kept up to date with the status of my claims and the coverage amount is the best I have seen. I have recommended Healthy Paws to many of my friends, especially those who are unsure about whether they can afford pet insurance or deal with the unnecessary bureaucracy at other firms. Our pets are our family and that is exactly how Healthy Paws treat my dog Milo. Customer focused, professional and both pet and budget friendly!

The person I spoke with was patient and knowledgeable about the specific case, however I was highly disappointed in the resolution to our claim.

The person I spoke with was patient and knowledgeable about the specific case, however I was highly disappointed in the resolution to our claim. The reasons our claim (ectopic ureter) were rejected were incredibly arbitrary (drinking too much water) and both our vet and trainer wrote letters of support that this shouldn't have been considered a preexisting condition for the purposes of the policy. (We had just rescued our second dog and he had some behavioral issues that were being addressed by a trainer, including over consumption of water.) Trupanion used vet notes where we mentioned that our new pup drank more water than our old pup, and sometimes urinated in the house, as the basis for rejection. We have policies for both of our dogs (and have had the other policy for 2+ years). We have only filed claims once before, but were under the deductible so have never once benefited from having the policy. This would have been the first time that we were eligible and it seemed like we immediately were excluded for the most arbitrary reason. It left a very unsatisfied reason regarding Trupanion and we are highly considering canceling our policy, as we don't have a good feeling about future interactions with the company.
