Great service.I often disagree with your pre-existing condition exclusions. Had a puppy at 10 weeks. Signed him up right away. Took him in and he was itchy. Now whenever he has a skin problem, including a staph infection, when he obviously didn't have as a puppy, it's pre-existing. That's why I took Hercules off Trupanion because everything, you said, was pre-existing. Other than that, service is good. And thank goodness now we can submit claims on line!!

I phoned PetsBest on May 24th at 5:49pm to cancel my cat's policy, after my sweet 17 year old cat Mocha passed away on May 20th. I spoke to Jen, and appreciated her compassion and patience. When she asked if there were any claims they could expect, before she cancelled the policy. I told her there was only cremation, since she passed away at home. She suggested I file a claim, and that it would be reviewed to see if the cremation would be covered. I had not planned to file the claim, thinking it would not be covered. I did file the claim and it was partially covered. Thank you. And the sympathy card to acknowledge Mocha's passing was unexpected, but very thoughtful. I appreciated it. Thank you PetsBest. So far I am not very excited about this policy because many of the expenses I incur are not covered. I guess it is really just a policy for huge emergencies.

Couldn't be simpler. I would recommend healthy paws to anyone who has pets. I have been in the position where my pet was very ill and we had no insurance. Never again! This last time my dog Flash was ill we were able to focus 100% on his care and not worry at all about the cost. I can't say enough good things about this company and the simplicity. Love the app. Love the customer service. Love the simplicity. Love that they actually care about your pets.
