Not sure

Not sure, but it seems to me if I have insurance for my pet, insurance should pay at the time. If I had money to pay out a few hundred dollars when I take pet to vet, I would not need insurance. I pay monthly payment on insurance and if my cat goes to vet I have to pay the bill and wait to get reimbursed. I am on SS, so if my cat gets sick and needs a vet and I don’t have money to pay, then my cat could die. Seems like if insurance premiums are paid and I need to take cat to the vet, that I should pay the small amount and vet gets paid by insurance. I should not have to turn over full amount for service and if had to put out few hundred dollars at the time of service, it would be imposssible.

If you love your furbabies, you need to get them insured by Healthy Paws Pet Insurance

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance was the best decision and best investment I've made to provide care for my fur-babies. I am extremely pleased with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance: -excellent coverage -excellent customer service, -easy to file claims -quick claim processing -fast reimbursement via direct deposit. Please, if you have an animal companion, I implore you to investigate pet health insurance - and I think you'll agree that Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is the best choice. I strongly encourage you to get pet health insurance while your animal companion is young and healthy and has no pre-existing conditions. The older they get, the more difficult to get good coverage. When each of my dogs were young, I locked in 90% reimbursement with an annual deductible of $100 with no lifetime limits with healthy paws pet insurance, Each month, I paid the premium. I didn't have may claims for injuries or illness back them. But trust me, as your dog gets older, you will be thankful you have pet health insurance from them. Recently, one of my dogs had to go to the emergency clinic. It turned out he had a large tumor that needed to be removed and his intestines resected. A two week hospital stay, including surgery, diagnostics, cancer screenings and oncology treatments racked up $40,000 real quick. Want to know what was also real quick? Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. Want to know who is home with me bright-eyed and alert and playful? My dog. Thank you Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. Between our three dogs, Healthy Paws Pet Insurance has reimbursed probably $65,000. A price tag we couldn't afford without health insurance to insure that our furbabies received the healthcare they needed. Multiple times for each of these dogs, Healthy Paws Pet Insurance was the difference between euthanasia and having our furbabies continue you with us with a high quality of life.

My almost 3 year old Great Pyrenees was out playing and injured her knee requiring an ACL surgery. Because we had our insurance policy we were able to afford the surgery and aftercare. Embrace has been great, all I did was send them our medical records and they mailed us a check within a few days! Great Experience!

Surprise Kidney Stone Surgery

I got my puppy rescue terrier/chihuahua in 2016 and started paying for pet insurance because there was a lot of scary foot traffic in my busy neighborhood. I paid a reasonable cost, starting at something like $19/month and going up to $35/month as my dog got older. Fast forward to 2021, and my dog uncharacteristically started peeing in the house. (We guessed maybe it was a UTI.) I took her to the vet and found out it was a kidney stone, and that it was too big for her to pass. She needed surgery. The total surgery cost something like $2500, but Healthy Paws reimbursed me. This was a huuuuge help -- it would have been a huge blow to my finances to have to pay for it all out of pocket. Healthy Paws is communicative and their interface is incredibly easy. So thankful that I decided to get Healthy Paws so many years ago! If you don't have it, I recommend getting it right away -- before it's too late!

ACL Tear Surgery Paid For

My Bernese Mountain Dog, Bear, tore his ACL and needed surgery to repair the tear. Trupanion covered Bear’s surgery cost at 90% (minus deductible) just like they advertise. I couldn’t be more pleased and I’m glad I chose Trupanion and that they have helped in securing the best life for Bear.

They Saved my Dog's Life

My policy with Pet's Best saved me from having to make a tough decision for my dog due to the excessive high cost of a long hospitalization. My 12-week-old puppy contracted leptospirosis and fell severely ill and required 10 days of hospitalization in the ICU. Knowing I had this policy meant that I could provide this care and he is home and back to his young self! The initial claims did take time to process, but they caught up quickly and processed all my claims for him at once! To make things easier ask your vet for the notes and records of the visit/ hospitalization and upload those to the website, this will save time as that is one less thing that they will need to do to process your claim.
