Denial of claims…
My dog recently had a growth appear in her mouth which has turned out to be cancerous. Embrace has denied the claims submitted because of a history of periodontal disease. I did not have the surgery done because of periodontal disease. It was done because she very suddenly had a problem that was obviously going to need treatment rapidly! When the growth was sent off for pathology, it did turn out to be a form of Cancer and not related to periodontal problems. I feel they denied these claims just as a way to avoid paying. Periodontal disease does NOT cause Cancer; other dental problems, yes, but Cancer no. If I could give them no stars I would, but that is not presented as an option. I have kept my two dogs with them for several years at a cost of $200 dollars/month and to be treated this way when I need to have one taken care of is truly an insult and I am extremely dissatisfied with them at this point!!!

Healthy Paws really came through for me, and my fur baby after he fell ill and required an extensive stay at the hospital. I felt very relieved that Healthy Paws would take care of the bills per his policy. Their reimbursement was really quick too so I greatly appreciated that as well.

Just signed up for this pet insurance because it was listed on-line as a top-rated insurance company. Hopefully it will be a good decision. Price per month was good and the coverage was better than my previous pet insurance which covered less and cost more (Nationwide).

Best decision I made was getting Healthy Paws!
My first Golden Retriever had a $6,000 life saving surgery just two weeks after bringing her home. I didn't have insurance and when I tried to get it after, I was told she had a pre-existing condition. With my second puppy I bought insurance right away and after researching numerous insurances I chose Healthy Paws. Best decision I could have made. They have such an easy claim submission process, they process claims super quickly, and they don't have a cap or minimum. Honestly, they've been a life saver with this new girl as she unfortunately has tummy issues as well! I highly recommend getting their insurance!
