Trupanion is the best and has been here for me for my dogs well being.
I took out my policy when my dog was 6 weeks old. He has been in perfect health for 11 years until now. Trupanion is caring and easy to deal with. Thank you so much for all you do. I have recommended Trupanion for years. Even to my vet.

Terrible. Worthless.
We found out that our puppy had congenital flaws. They deemed this a pre-existing condition and have covered absolutely nothing. And now they list everything as pre-existing. Scam.

I got the 30 day free policy with my AKC certified lab. Then I parlayed that into a full policy. We found out that our puppy has congenital flaws. They covered zero. Birth defects are considered a pre-existing condition. And now that is their excuse to cover absolutely nothing. Do not waste your money on this insurance.

I have had Trupanion for 8 years and…
I have had Trupanion for 8 years and when I needed to file a claim for my cat for Hyperthyroidism it took weeks and they dragged their feet claiming “under review” and the delay was from him missing a booster shot 5 years ago which has nothing to do with the claim. Horrible experience and complete the waste of money!!!
