PSA-- owners, please think long term
I used to be a 5* review, but now... I feel betrayed at a time my pets are most vulnerable... I wish I never signed up with HP almost 10 years ago, one of the worst choices in my life, ever, and the guilt of possibly not being able to care for my animals soon will be life-long shadow, thanks to you. I wish I saw honest reviews of senior owners the company was forcing off the books before I became trapped. I sincerely wish Healthy Paws Pet Insurance offered a 10k or 20k capped product, even at 80%, out of the "compassion" they reference in their socials. This, a life-line to HP LOYALTY senior pet owners especially in HCOL areas who want to continue "protecting them like family", but can no longer afford the mortgage-level monthly premiums ($430-1500+ / MONTH) of the unlimited product. Trapped by pre-existing conditions or too old to go to another company, left with Nothing, absolutely nothing. Or maybe even out the rates across age groups just a little bit so seniors can stay on little longer and you live up to your current propaganda (age frankly was one of the pillars of your propaganda back in 2016, that age is not a price hike factor. this was one of the main reasons I joined. There are articles online about it with executive statements). When I first signed up nearly a decade ago I thought this will be for the life of my pets, unfortunately, not looking like it. I also do not understand why I see quotes for less at other companies for older animals... so clearly it is doable. PS: HEALTHY PAWS Customer Service. Please do not respond and insult me with your templated cut and paste. Take the suggestion of a lifeline product to your managers, but do not respond at all justifying rates at this level for senior pets in certain markets unless HP pays you so much that you could afford them yourselves. Please and thank you.

This is my first time to ever buy insurance and it was my first time to ever place a claim on pet insurance. I talked with three different people at Pumpkin to understand the process and every single one of them wee fabulous. They were professional, kind, knowledgeable, and good communicators. It was an amazing customer service experience. I cannot recommend Pumpkin Pet Insurance Highly enough. My experience with Met Life pet…
My experience with Met Life pet insurance has been nothing short of a miracle. Hassle, free, no questions asked reimbursements for every pet visit. I have one dog that’s battling cancer and they have made the whole horrible experience bearable because I didn’t have to worry about cost. Every one of my family uses them now I can’t recommended them enough.

Coopers first Vet visit check
We recently got a Golden doodle pup and took him for his first vet appointment with us to get his vaccine updated and a wellness check by the vet. Paid a little over $240 in total then submitted the claim that same day for cooper since my co- pay is $200 so I made that line mark. Have 80% refund amount so in leas than a week I heard back and got approval for $170 refund amount! Overall easy to submit a claim and got a check in the mail easy to deposit as well. First time getting dog insurance and couldn’t be happier with PETSBEST! Definitely recommend it to anyone who has fur babies !

So thankful for Healthy Paws pet insurance! My dog needed emergency surgery for a collapsed lung. The insurance covered 90%, and we were reimbursed in less than a month.
