Embrace pet insurance is worth my peace of mind…
The Embrace pet insurance policy is written to industry standards and the coverages are tailored to meet most pet owner's insurance needs. While highly recomending Embrace I would suggest that if a claim is filed for injury or illness that the policy holder maintain a file to document all contact as each vet followup visit for the same illness/injury generates an additional claim that then generates an email requesting duplicate vet medical history that was requested and provided when the claim was initiated. Any injury that requires multiple vet visits requires medical record uploads to Embrace and each upload generates a a new claim and this generates an email asking for the vet medical history. Over-all my experience has been positive and each phone call to Embrace was handeled professionaly by a licensed agent. Based on my claims experience I recomend Embrace.

Good peace of mind when needing pet care
Excellent fast and knowledgeable service. Its like any insurance company. You only know how good they are when you need their service. Trupanion lived up to our expectation in what we were hoping to get when we got pet insurance for our dog.

Ridiculous
Took 45 days to be reimbursed for my simple wellness claim. The UI on the app only allowed for a single page document. However, it needed a summary of care and a receipt showing it was payed. These did not come on the same sheet which created a hassle trying to get the claim even accepted. But the worst part is that I signed up for the policy with 2 cats, and paid double so that both my cats had separate coverage. But since they both fell under the same policy, they both only fell under a single wellness plan. So the maximum reimbursement amount I would be allowed to receive for wellness treatments would be the same as if I had a single cat on the policy. I wish I knew this before having a number of wellness treatments done on my cats, racking up a few hundred dollars in bills that I had assumed I was going to be reimbursed for (hence the whole point behind getting pet insurance with a good wellness plan). But I guess that's on me for expecting that since I was paying double to get separate coverage, I'd have double the maximum amount I could be reimbursed for. Silly me.

Vet Bill processing
I uploaded copy of my vet bill and cy of paid receipt. I started receiving automated messages that more info was needed. Not clear what was needed. Since it was a holiday weekend, I waited and called today. Very helpful customer Rep checked it out and found it was already processed. Don’t know why I kept receiving the automated messages. There seems to be a glitch in your system. Always worked smoothly before
