How Long Do You Have To Wait?
I find the time from providing the information regarding the Vet's bill until the incident is reviewed and compensation is decided and then deposited, to be exceptionally long. In instances where thousands of dollars are involved, it means that I carry the entire cost until you are able to deal with how much you will cover and then deposit. Over the year's I've been with Pets Best it's gotten longer and longer until it is now ridiculous. You should also provide this information in all of your marketing so people know what they're buying.

We are very pleased with our insurance and the ease of submitting claims. Our vet just submits the claims online and decision is made by next day and funds are deposed in my account. They are easy to get ahold of to discuss coverage or any questions we have.

A great deal
I really like the fact that you cover pre exisiting conditions if Pet is clear in 18 months. Most plans do not. Plus the price is really good.

Trupanion is absolutely fantastic
Trupanion is such a fantastic company. The customer service is the I've ever seen. Anytime I call, I get polite, quick, and knowledgeable answers to all my questions. They process claims so fast and I've never had any issues with them refusing to cover anything. The rates are very reasonable and you don't get hit with huge increases every year. I recommend Trupanion to every pet owner I know. I will never have to compromise the level of care that my pet's receive based on what I can afford because all of them are insured with Trupanion.

We’ve been looking for new pet…
We’ve been looking for new pet insurance for our pets since relocating to a new state. PPI was my first choice initially, but I was a little shocked at the customer service. When I mentioned that I was considering canceling my new plan due hidden fees on an already very over-priced pet insurance. It was strongly insinuated that if money was the issue, check back when I could afford them. Easy decision: cancel. To be clear, I happily signed my very healthy, somewhat young cat up for the “Ultimate” plan (about $100/month). I canceled when I found out this “ultimate” coverage does not cover basic visits, labs, and vaccines/boosters. That plan is an additional $50/month. They should be ashamed of themselves for their customer service. Also, customers cannot adjust billing information online — you must call. They said they are looking into making things more online. This made claims and paperwork with them sound like a nightmare. Went to Pumpkin instead. Also well regarded on Trust Pilot, fully online, and a third of the cost.

My 1 year old Great Dane tore his ACL…
My 1 year old Great Dane tore his ACL last summer. I placed a call into Pumpkin and spoke with a very nice lady that was very empathetic and talked to me about Zeus, as I was pretty upset about him being so young and have an injury like this. She explained the process and before hanging up she said she was sending good vibes for Zeus and his surgery and healing. The end results were so easy and fast. I can't thank you guys enough and I'm so glad we chose Pumpkin Insurance.

I’m so glad to have chosen Pumpkin pet insurance on my new French bulldog puppy. I did my due diligence in investigating all the available insurance companies. But by far, no insurance out there provides the level of service and coverage for my new addition. I highly recommend the peace of mind for anyone looking to provide coverage for any pet. Every representative within this organization has been compassionate and understanding when dealing with unplanned veterinarian visits.
