LENGTHY TIME AND INCOMPLETE REIMBURSEMENT
I was not happy with the length of time for my claims to be processed (47 days) and then to find out that because my vet wrote "Miscellaneous Prescriptions" on the invoice, I was not reimbursed for them. I then had to contact my vet, have them generate a new invoice with the names of the drugs, resubmit it and now I have to wait again for reimbursement. Whoever was assessing the claim could have just called the vet's office and they would have provided the names of the drugs. That would have been good customer service, instead of not paying me and having me resubmit and wait for payment.

An affordable option you never want to use but are glad if you need to!
I was initially apprehensive to get pet insurance but after my cat was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism 2 years ago and required (expensive!) radiation therapy and monthly meds and bloodwork I'm glad I did. All claims have been paid since day 1 and I anticipate they will be in the future.

Great Customer Service Agents
Great Customer Service Agents. The agents were helpful and looked into the issues I had. I wish I could get more clarity sometimes on which procedures my coverage will cover but they tried. They seem to cover a lot of expenses and it is really easy to send a claim in.

Great pet insurance
So far, my experience with Pets Best has been great! It took about 2 months to hear back on a claim I filed. But once I got a response, reimbursement was direct deposited a couple days later. It covered a huge chunk of a dental surgery my cat needed. Super helpful!

I’m in the middle
There is a long day to process claims. Customer service wait times are long and they do not reply to emails. I believe there has been a chat feature option at times but it disappears. Reps are kind and apologetic. I am disappointed they don’t cover anal gland expression and there seems to be no legitimate reason besides its a common issue that requires a lot of visits for some. Claims have been resolved within approximately 30 business days.
