Trupanion is the Best
My Bernese Mountain Dog, Bear, tore his ACL. Trupanion has been there every step of the way for him, from surgery to follow-up X-rays. They paid 90% (minus our deductible) for everything with the last payment made even before I got out of the parking lot at the Vet’s office. I couldn’t be more satisfied.

They're happy to take your money.
I only had them for 2 months. My dog got sick and of course he's been sick before so they weaseled their way out of helping me with the vet bills. I've given them all the documents from the vet stating he's that there were 2 different illnesses. The one I claimed and another one which lead me to get insurance. Well, they see it as all the same problem and denied my claim which was a month later. Then they say that he can't be sick for a year before they cover him. Would you get medical insurance if you had to wait a year to use it? Waste of money. EDIT: I'm not claiming the pre-existing condition. I claimed for a different illness that developed after I was "covered" it was a month apart from what I'm claiming. But I was still denied.

Great coverage but slow claim processing
The coverage and price is great, but it takes a long time to be reimbursed after submitting a claim. Like months. Customer service is always very nice
