They understand
Well I signed up in January and when February came my bank card got lost in the mail. So I was late on my payment like a week And I emailed them telling them to please don't cancel I plan to pay as soon as I get my bank card. They didn't cut off my kitty insurance nor did they charge me extra and when I got my email the next day I received my 25.00 dollar gift card for signing up with them in January.. I recommend this company for they understand and let you pay when u can. Also I feel they have the best prices and you can get your cat neutered unlike other insurances only reason I picked them cuz of that main reason but their prices are much lower I am poor so it works for my family..

I love lemonade
I have used this insurance a couple times. Filing a claim is easy and when you get a refund you get it in a couple days. The best thing I have done is getting pet insurance. I’m so happy I chose lemonade pet insurance

Trupanion has made my life with Raidyn so much easier
Trupanion has made my life with Raidyn so much better. My little Himy is such a happy go lucky boy, even though I felt something was wrong in his early years. After much testing it was found he had severe allergies which contributed to him, having severe IBD (which is painful). In the beginning many years ago, you had to pay the vet's and await the cheque, then they made it easier by sending the cheques to the vet's so you just paid out the taxes, and what was not covered. Then they came onboard with Direct Pay..Wow, so much easier for us human parents and the vet hospitals who did insurance. I was able to use my energy to be a cat-mom/nurse. Raidyn is thriving still at the age of 14 yrs soon. Unfortunately his vet retired and we had moved to a different community where it seems none of the vet hospitals do insurance claims? (dark ages) But trupanion came through for me when I had to do the claims myself and even though it takes a bit longer for me to do the paperwork, i get the Direct pay and it helps keeps us financially more stable. I still worry bout end of life and am hopeful I will find a vet hospital close enough that will take that burden off my shoulders a bit.

Everyone should have pet insurance!
I was on the fence about getting pet insurance when I adopted my 2 cats and puppy. But my vet tech talked me into it, saying if I could put my money in one place it should be pet insurance. Because it covers the unknowns. The emergencies. So I sat down and spoke with a rep from trupanion. She was AMAZING. I signed them up at different deductible amounts, And then put their deductible costs directly into my savings incase I ever needed to use them. Well...that was in December, and last week it happened. Just a few months after signing them up, my sweet Snickers developed pancreatitis, and had to spend a week at the emergency hospital. Without trupanion I would have never been able to afford her care. They covered 90% of my bill, after I paid my deductible and the initial exam fee. Because of this insurance, her life was saved. And honestly...just this ONE trip to the emergency vet, and her insurance has paid for itself for YEARS already. If there is one thing you can do...get pet insurance. And be responsible and set aside the deductible amount into your savings account where it won't be touched. That way you are prepared on your end, and you only have to worry about the 10% thats not covered.
