My vet Dr.
My vet, Dr. Hack recommended I purchase Trupanion insurance when we first brought out young dog to her. Trupanion has come through numerous times and has been a life saver. I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have Trupanion as there have been times when I would not have been able to afford to get the care for my fur baby that he needed. I would never have an animal without also having Trupanion insurance.

Our sweet Winnie was only 6 months old.
Our sweet Winnie was only 6 months old. We never expected for things to go wrong for her so early. We purchased the insurance based on previous experience with two rescue dogs and their porcupine emergencies. The cost seemed steep at first with a new puppy- but boy what a great deal it was. We're grieving still at her loss but at least a good portion of the vet bills were covered so we don't have to worry about that. We know for sure, and have told family about it, that we are getting another puppy and will be signing up again for Trupanion. It was worth every penny, and the claims process was so easy.
