Allows the love and care Zorro deserves

I got Trupanion when Zorro first came home and have never doubted that choice or decision or what it has cost me each month it has provided me in reassurance a million times over making it worth every penny. I love being able to get advance approval for those non emergency incidents and have never had a request denied, or questioned. The process for claim is easy and the payments come so quickly. I have friends who where insured with another company and wait months for payment on claims, oh no I dont think so. Never more than a week with any claim Ive filed with Trupanion. The peace of mind is worth every penny, and the knowledge that no matter what happens the decision I make will not have to be focused on the bottom line!!

Thank God we had Trupanion

We spent thousands on our Pomahuahua over her 13 year lifespan, and when she passed in 2009, we decided that, were we to get another dog, we would buy insurance. Our vet suggested Trupanion. I went online, read about it and signed up. Smart! Smart! Smart!Within the confines of our $250 deductible, Trupanion has saved us thousands, as our new, 16-month-old Pomahuahua (aka Pomchi) is truly an adventure dog and has been bee-stung (anaphylactic shock), eaten rat poison and this week, was bitten in the face by a rattlesnake. I cannot say enough good about Trupanion.

Incredibly fast claims service

I wish every company i dealt with was half as incredible as Trupanion. My eight year old black Lab tore his ACL three weeks ago. The claim has already been paid. No hassles, no delay. Then, 10 days ago, he tore the other ACL. The claim for that was approved today. I am amazed at their service.

Thank God for Trupanion

We have had many dogs over the years and never had insurance for them. So when I was approached by my vet to get insurance for my new pup, a Bassett Hound cross, I had a double take. For some unknown reason I took the insurance. Well, it has paid for itself already, Charlie has been to the hospital twice. The first for something he got into, the second was he had a reaction to the medication his vet ordered for him. The 3 day stay in the hospital quickly added up. But, I felt relieved that I good give him the best possible care that he deserved. Trupanion is quick to respond, and cares about our pets. I reccomend them to anyone looking for the best for their pet.

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
