A Winner!

My Silky Terrier age 10 is insured with Trupanion and I could not be more pleased. Winnie has had Gastritis, Dehydration etc requiring IV fluids, medications, etc twice this year. Trupanion's response has been terrific and helped me afford Winnie being quickly cared for and she is doing well now. These people are so compassionate as well. Highly recommend this insurance, no question. I am a Nurse and looked at them all. This is the very best.

Trupanion is a Lifesaver!

We have been using trupanion since our two king charles cavaliers were puppies. Our oldest, Boston has had to visit the vet many times, and Trupanion has always processed our claims quickly. Recently, his 'step-brother' Buckley had an emergency visit to the vet. He was foaming at the mouth and convulsing overnight, and we rushed him to the vet where they had to perform extensive testing and treatments to get him well. We were nervous about the expensive vet bill, but ultimately having trupanion allowed us to get him the best vet care available. Our vet bill was over $2000, but trupanion reimbursed us for nearly 90% in just a couple weeks. It was such a relief too not to be hassled over our claims. We HIGHLY recommend trupanion!

I am an extremely Satisfied Customer

Since getting our dog at 6 weeks old, Amber has suffered from a chronic Urinary Tract Infection. Because of the unknown cause Doctors have performed many diagnostic tests, and even exploratory surgery to find the root of the problem. The cost have been in so far in excessive of $5000.00. Thank God for Trupanion, they have paid 90% of the cost in a very timely manner.

Pet insurance I thought I never needed...

As a lifelong pet owner I had never purchased pet health insurance. I recently purchased a puppy. During her free well puppy exam on her 3rd day in our home she received a clean bill of health. At that visit we were introduced to a free 30 day trial of Trupanion. A week later, being nosey, as all puppies are, she ingested something that could have causaed her great harm or death. We immedialtely rushed her to our new vet (Hometown Animal Hospital), where she recieved exeptional care. The vet's office assisted in filing the claim. Within 2 weeks the claim was reviewed and paid. Although I was skeptical in the beginning, I'm totally conviced. I reviewed other policies with different companies and Trupanion was by far the most comprehensive. I'm a believer.

Worth every penny!

I got this after hearing about it from my vet and within a couple of weeks my puppy got sick and the bill added up to $1000+. Recommended to anyone who has a pet.

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
