Great care and comittment to pets.

I have dealt with Trupanion since enrolling Apollo at the age of 4 months. Unfortunately he became very ill at the age of 1 and 1/2 years. Finally diagnosed with IBD. Trupanion was with me all the way and I truly appreciate their commitment to our pets. His recent bout of pancreatitis only confirms my believe in this company. They are amazing!!!

TRUPANION IS AMAZING

I can not even say enough good things about trupanion. I am actually in shock still to this very moment about the level of care they had about my pet and the level of commitment they had to ensuring my claim was handled promptly. I was devastated when my dog got hit by a car, I didnt even remember at first that I had pet insurance. It wasnt until they asked me to pay for it that I remembered that I had purchased insurance, and thank GOD I had purchased the optional package for physical therapy. Of course he needed surgery and physical therapy and every step of the way I felt so much peace knowing that I didnt have to make any decisions for dog based on money. They people that handled my claim were MORE than friendly. In fact there was an issue with my claim that I didnt know about prior to the injury and yet they still honored my claim to its full extent. I am more than grateful that I spent the extra money every month for pet insurance I would HONESTLY recommend it to anyone that has a pet. The chances of your pet having a severe injury are probably always very slim in your mind as a pet owner but when or if God forbid something happens, having this insurance is a lifesaver. Trupanion is by far the most amazing pet insurance I have ever ran across. No gimmicks and very straight forward.

My 14 year old pet has had 7 months of life because we had insurance that helped us afford the treatment. Her quatlity of life has been worth it and the joy and love we have had has been so worth it! I honor Trupanion!!

Great service

My dog, Lucy, required extensive veterinarian care in May for an intestinal blockage. Lucy has a great vet, very skilled and also a great listener. In spite of this it took 4 days to diagnose the blockage because Lucy did not present with typical symptoms. On a Friday afternoon, close to closing time, the vet finally discovered a blockage in Lucy's intestine. She was transferred to an emergency hospital for surgery that night and received fantastic post surgery care until Saturday afternoon when she came home. I had 5 claims forms to submit, one for each day, Tuesday - Saturday's care. I submitted claims to Trupanion. Once again Trupanion's service was compassionate and quick. I had a few correspondances with Trupanion with questions I had and they were very caring throughtout the process. Payment was quick and covered 90% of all vet services claimed! I am very please I have Trupanion insurance for Lucy! It sure makes the requirement for good veterinary care a lot easier to provide. Thank you for your great service Trupanion.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
