Life-Saver for your pet

Trupanion pet insurance has been a literal life-saver for my girl Isabella. She had to have both knees reconstructed in 2014 and had some complications. Trupanion came through with all the coverage promised and made it possible for my girl to have a good quality of life. They continue to cover her pain management at 90% with no lifetime cap of costs. WONDERFUL company.

Reimbursement came quickly and process was easy.

You never know until you need to file a claim if it will be easy and reimbursement will be made. When our dog needed hip surgery, we received 90% of the $3,000. claim as promised. Everyone who answered the phone at Trupanion was helpful and the claim was quickly processed.

I highly recommend Trupanion

I highly recommend Trupanion and will continue to purchase pet insurance from Trupanion. Getting my claim settled at first took longer than I expected, but after the initial claim (it took a few weeks and I had maxed out my credit card for my cat's care)but after the first claim was paid, Trupanion paid the other claims for same condition very quickly. I highly recommend getting pet insurance for your pet. So many people have to get their ill pets euthanized because they cannot afford the high medical expenses if you pet had a serious illness, like cancer. I will never be without pet insurance again for any of my pets and will by Trupanion for my next pet

Trupanion was there when I needed them. My dog was sick so we had to go to the vet. Of course the vet wants x-ray test all samples and all kinds of exams. Before it was all over it cost close to $500 for the services they provided. Trupanion was able to allow me to make the claim immediately and help me every step of the way. And they even reimburse me 90 percent in less than two and a half weeks after the claim was made. Looks like I'll keep that insurance for life. Thanks again I can't thank you enough

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
