Letting us worry about her recovery rather than co

Jasmine quickly answered my pre-approval request and worked with me to quickly resolve our claim once the vets submitted it. Dealing with surgery for a young, active dog is hard enough. I cannot imagine doing it without Trupanion's support--having to worry about coming up with $5,000 to cover the surgery cost. I know they will continue to support us through Juno's rehabilitation. So grateful I chose Trupanion and I recommend them to everyone.

A very satisfied customer

Trupanion alwasy ensure that our claim is process in a very quickly manner and the service that they provided coupled with their incredibly simple and rounded policy gives us a piece of mind. No more headaches to figure out the coverage and no worries for the processing time. We've used Trupanion since Munchies was 8 weeks old and we will never use other insurance company. So far we are a happy and satisfied customer. =)

I love Trupanion!

Trupanion is the best! Our beautiful boy dog was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. Not only did they pay what is promised per the policy, they pay very fast and check in to see how he's doing.

trupanion is terrific!

my vet has set-up w/Trupanion in which thre ins. payment is handled while I'm still at my vet's, and I make MY co-pay before me and Sweep go home!Tru. sends e-mail and paper statements immediately, and also follows up as per my cat's progress..lovely company!glad I found them!

Beyond Satisfied!!

The entire process was simple, easy and fast. I just wish I would have known of Trupanion many years ago. We've had too many visits to count over the years with our older boxer and this sure would have saved us many thousands of dollars. The best thing is, that Trupanion still took him on, even though he's had multiple issues and he's older (10 1/2)...I tried to get him insurance a few years earlier with several companies & no one would take him because of those reasons. I am so relieved now that I am able to have both of our fur-babies insured!

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries. That means we don’t cover “predictable” care costs that you can plan ahead for, like: Examination fees Wellness and preventive care Elective, or cosmetic procedures Sales tax, where applicable Like all pet insurance providers, Trupanion does not cover pre-existing conditions.
