Great people and great care!

I have a 14 yr. cat. His age has some influence on his health and that requires me to stay on top of his medical condition all times everyday. I had a lot of support form the Trupanion team from the minute I signed with them. They are quick to respond, understanding and are willing to listen. It is great to have that kind of understanding and communication with an insurance company and most of all when it has to do with your furry loved ones.

Good

I have so far been satify with Trupanion, the only thing is I didn't realize, weather I miss read or not clearly stated,that the deductible was for each time you summit a plan.

Baby teeth removed

I have a Pomeranian and he had baby teeth that would not come out and were interfering with the adult teeth. They were pulled and now all is fine. The situation was resolved.

So Glad I Joined

Henry is my second pet. My first dog, Snowball, came to us around the age of three and I didn't even though pet insurance existed. She was a good dog and she lived a long life, but during her last five years she was very, very sick and had to see several different kind of specialist cardiologist and opthamologists. So, when Henry came along, I signed up with Truepanion. From the first, every representative I have ever spoken to has not only been knowledgeable, very pleasant to deal with. Someone walk me through all the different possibilities available when signing up and choosing a plan. They were patient and answered questions repeatedly. What is really nice is during this process I was able to deal with the same representative rather than each time speak to someone new and explain all over again. Automatic bank deductions make payments easy and stress-free, online filing and great customer service make this a company one I am very happy to deal with. I recently filed a series of claims dating back almost one year which, due to problems at the vets office, were never properly filed with Truepanion. Once again, a friendly and knowledgeable representative (or two) was able to help me figure out what I needed to send in and basically clean up a huge paperwork mess. my claims were paid in a very timely manner – again, direct deposit into my bank account, stress free and easy! This is a fantastic plan and I am so grateful I have it. I highly recommend it and cannot say enough good things about the representatives, the various options available to pet owners and the comprehensive service and quality I have received since the day I signed up.

Trupanion saved our lives!

Trupanion has helped us take care of our cavalier King Charles spaniel more than we would have ever been able to. Since she was 3 months old she has experienced one health problem after another some very life threatening and some that just required major surgeries (seizures, eosinophillic pneumonia, luxating patellas, and various bladder issues and minor issues). Throughout the short four years that we have had our dog, we have never had to question what is best for Sophie because we always knew that Trupanion was there to help us provide Sophie with the best care possible. Each and every time that we file a claim or file for pre-approval before big surgeries and diagnostic testing, Trupanion has always approved our claims is an extremely timely manner and have always approved our claims. We wouldn't have Sophie with us anymore if it wasn't for Trupanion and we seriously owe them more than we could ever give! Thank you just doesn't cover how grateful we are for the amazing services and customer care that Trupanion provides to their clients. Thank you for letting us have a wonderful long life with our four legged baby!!

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
