I don't know what I would do without Trupanion

I never expected to need pet insurance, but after reading about it I decided to get in just in case when my dog was a puppy. I have since relied on it a lot. My dog has ended up having very special needs that I honestly don't know how I would have paid for without Trupanion. Even if your dog is healthy now, one illness/injury/etc. can cost thousands of dollars. To me, it is worth it to have the security of knowing I can take the best care of my dog as possible! I tell all my friends to just go for it.

Excellent service

I've had nothing but good service from this company. Claims are handled quickly and ungrudgingly. You can talk to a real human being if you need to call. They've gone beyond what I expected.

Couldn't have asked for anything betters

This was an expensive surgery and I feared they would try to get out of it. Not only did they pay, but it was only a day or two before I got an email saying they were sending a check! Unbelievably good service.

Trip anion is awesome!!

Our dog Haley has had 4 surgeries. Everything has been covered without a moments hesitation. Never an argument or hesitation. Paid promptly every time and the staff are friendly and efficient. Could not think of one negative thing to say. This is the real deal. Haley has had over 20K in surgeries and trupanion covered it all. Wish more companies were like this.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
