Trupanion delivers

We have a Rottweiler insured with Trupanion and unfortunately he has had a hip replacement, crochet ligament surgery and has a lesion on his spine causing him to not feel his back legs. Trupanion has covered the claims without a moment's hesitation, helping us to take care of our beloved family member. I use a credit card and before the bill arrives, the check from Trupanion arrives. Highly recommend this to anyone with a pet. Veterinary bills are very expensive and I never want to have to choose between taking care of our dog or paying the bills.

Trupanion saved my dog's life!

Our dog, Veda, was born with severe hip dysplasia. She needed multiple surgeries and years of therapy. In addition, her holistic vet has been crucial to her recovery and quality of life. Trupanion has supported our family through it all! There is no doubt in our minds, we wouldn't have been able to afford all of the care Veda needed without Trupanion and are forever grateful. We will never again have pets without Trupanion pet insurance. We now have four and ALL have Trupanion!

Excellent Experience

Trupanion was very helpful when my young cat has an obstruction in her stomach and needed surgery to remove this item.They settled the claim very quickly, in this case, without waiting for all the vet records to be sent to them. Thankfully I had the coverage and was able to instruct the vet to go ahead with the surgery quickly which saved my lovely 3 year old kitty.

There for us, once again!

For the 3rd time in six year, my dog Ozzy ended up in a life threatening situation. Just as I can rely on his fantastic vet to look after him, I was also able to rely, once again, on Trupanion to make the treatment decisions easy. As always, the no non-sense claim adjudication process took place and within 48 hours, I was reimbursed for the surgery and drug costs needed to get my Ozzy back on his feet. The peace of mind that comes with dealing with Trupanion is second to none. This insurance coverage is as essential as a daily walk to the park!

The Best Service

Fast. Informative. No Hassle. I faxed the claim late one night and had responses the next day. Trupanion stayed in touch via email every step of the way. They just had to wait for my vets to send invoices. A few days later, they had received invoices and we received payment for our claim. I wish medical insurance claims for people could be as painless. I would never get another pet without getting Trupanion insurance.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
