Quality American Product, Fair Price
First off, the people are so friendly and helpful (plus real humans in the USA). Second, I feel I'm getting a quality product at a fair price. Third, the one time I made a claim, it was very easy and their follow through was timely. I highly recommend Prudent Pet Insurance.

The rep I talked to name was Stephanie and she was very good. Very knowledgeable on the product and advised me on things. I should get on the product to not waste my money. I was very pleased with her and would recommend her to anybody.

Great customer service
Stephanie communicated with me via text due to my schedule and it was so helpful. She was able to answer all of my questions and was very quick and clear. Highly recommend.
Monthly Cost
Monthly rates start at $10 for Accident only and $16 for Accident & Illness coverage. Those rates vary based on species, age, breed as well as your location.
Coverage
We cover based on the actual vet bill and have options for 90%, 80% or 70% reimbursement.
Payout Limits
We offer limits of $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $15,000, $20,000 and an unlimited plan. There are no lifetime limits with any option you choose.
Deductible
Choose a deductible that works best for you and your family, we offer $100, $250 and $500 options.
Age Limits
We have no age limits, but your pet will need to be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
For our accident & illness plans (essential & ultimate), we have a 14-day waiting period. Our accident-only policy only has a 5-day waiting period. There is no waiting period for wellness coverage.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered by our policies.
Optional Wellness Details
We have two preventive/wellness plan options. Our basic option costs $9.95/month* and our Prime option costs $24.95/month*. These cover things like wellness exams, dental cleanings, or flea/heartworm prevention. Reimbursement for these is based on a set maximum annual amount.
