Petsecure | Pet Insurance Review

I have been with Petsecure for almost 20 years now and I would not insure my kids with anyone else. Over the years, this company has seen my dogs and cats from babyhood, through middle and old age and finally euthanasia. I have never had a claim denied and have always been shown respect, courtesy and genuine caring. I have found their deductibles reasonable and their plans extensive. Highly recommend.

They are fine in paying claims but not very quick. Also, have to keep track of claims faxed or sent in as they aren't quick on receiving them for processing either. If that's not an issue to you, they are a good company to deal with.

I have been a customer for the past 16 years, and never wanted to need to submit any claims. I hoped that my beloved boy would not get so sick as he has. Our lives took an unexpected turn when he got sick in August, and then the cancer was diagnosed in September. I can tell you that Petsecure has been prompt in responding to and paying my claims. The agents are always compassionate, asking about how he is, and seem to understand how hard this is for me, his mom. I am truly grateful for their help. It alleviates the concern regarding finances, and I know that I can pay for anything that will contribute to his quality of life which is of course my priority. Thank you so much!!

Pet Secure has been well worth the monthly premium, and has saved us thousands of dollars, but more importantly allowed us to afford all of the recommended treatments to keep our dog as healthy as can be. We have not had to scrimp and save or give up things we need or want in order to provide needed care. Working in a vet clinic I often see that owning a pet can be a financial hardship and wish that every pet owner would see the benefit of a good insurance provider.

WE RECENTLY PURCHASED A SHIH TZU PUPPY WHO IS NOW 4.5 MONTHS OLD. WE PURCHASED HER WHEN SHE WAS 14 WEEKS OLD AND PROMPTLY HAD HER CHECKED BY A VET. SHE WAS ALL GOOD. NO PROBLEMS. THE SECRETARY SOLD US ON THE PETSECURE PET INSURANCE 6 WEEK FREE TRIAL. TODAY I RECEiVED THE PAPERWORK AND AFTER RESEARCHING AND READING THE REVIEWS ONLINE THERE IS NO WAY I WILL BE BUYING PET INSURANCE.I COMPARED REVIEWS OF OTHER INSURERS AND THEY ARE ALL THE SAME. THEY COLLECT YOUR MONEY AND DENY YOUR CLAIM.I WILL PUT THE PREMIUM MONEY PLUS A LITTLE EXTRA EACH MONTH INTO AN ACCOUNT AND JUST DO MY REGULAR VET CHECKS. IF AND I HOPE IT NEVER DOES HAPPEN I CAN JUST PAY AND DON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH A COMPANY THAT ONLY CARES ABOUT THEIR BOTTOM LINE REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEY SAY ON THE PHONE.
