Pets Plus Us comes through (again)!

Our poodle had rapidly progressing cataracts and he is only 3. Cataract surgery is very expensive. Thankfully we had Pets plus Us. I was anxious whether they would approve the surgery and honour the claim. Their reimbursement came through within a week of surgery without any surprises. This is the second significant $ claim they have come though on. I've had pet insurance with other carriers on my previous dogs. Pets Plus Us is the best of them.

We got a quick help from Pets plus Us company when our dog got sick and needed expensive tests and medicine, we sent a claim and less than a week after we got an amount that 50% covered our huge expenses. It was such a relief! and just on time! now our dog is fine, and we are really happy:)) we thank you sincerely!

surgery

My standard poodle needed to have a saliva gland removed, it was leaking and had caused a large pocket that continued to grow and become heavier over time, Leo is 8 years old and has had pets plus us insurance since he was a puppy, it has been a god send for us, he has severe allergies and it has allowed us to give him the best care, as well as having this surgery which was close to $4000! he's recovering well, we are one week post surgery and he is getting back to his normal silly self!

Monthly Cost

Monthly costs vary based on your pet’s species, age, and location, as well as your chosen plan. Customize coverage to suit your pet’s needs and your budget.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill and includes coverage of exam fees and taxes.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000 in Accident Only coverage, or $7,500 or $15,000 in Accident & Illness coverage annually, depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100 – $700 age-based annual deductible.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. There is no upper age limit.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins after 48 hours for accidents. A policy waiting period of 14 days applies for illnesses.

Exclusions

All pet insurance plans have limitations and exclusions. Medical Conditions that are noted, symptomatic or diagnosed prior to enrollment, or during a waiting period are pre-existing to Coverage and not eligible for reimbursement. All Accident & Illness policies are underwritten upfront so pet owners are aware of any pre-existing conditions that will not be covered prior to making a claim.
