If I could make a review for 0 stars I would
This is the worst pet insurance ever. They do not care for your dog and their policies always exclude surprisingly the illness your dog had. So for example mine was vomiting, "it doesn't include vomiting". They don't take the time to read your claim, and have a 2 week period while you are paying almost $70 dollars already for the insurance to get "processed". Horrible service, horrible insurance and very "smart" in getting all your money. Do yourselves a favor and do not waste your money.

Claim
I have recently had a number of claims with my boxer who has a heart condition. Pets Plus Us has been super easy to use and I have not even had to contact customer service. This insurance has given me piece of mind to do what is best for my pet. Thank you!

Illogical and Cowardly
$143/month for my GSD. Developed anal sacculitis (anal gland infection). Veterinarian prescribed strict Hydrolized food diet in an attempt to recitify the condition as last ditch effort prior to surgery and removal of anal glands.
Pets Plus Us approved all related anal sacculitis vet visits but not the Hydrolized food diet. Because I tried it once a long time ago (prior to Pets Plus Us) in attempt to help with her allergies (I ceased as it was ineffective) and claimed that the food is part of "prexisting condition".
Food is used as treatment modality for her anal sacculitis and it has been effective. Still fighting them.
Otherwise it's fine. Don't get the impression this medical insurance provider is any different than the others. These guys are sleezy too. They hide behind insurance language and speak more than others I find. So be prepared to be inundated by extreme court like lanagauge and behaviour as well as stalling tactics.
Monthly Cost
Monthly costs vary based on your pet’s species, age, and location, as well as your chosen plan. Customize coverage to suit your pet’s needs and your budget.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill and includes coverage of exam fees and taxes.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $5,000 in Accident Only coverage, or $7,500 or $15,000 in Accident & Illness coverage annually, depending on your chosen plan.
Deductible
$100 – $700 age-based annual deductible.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
There is no upper age limit.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins after 48 hours for accidents. A policy waiting period of 14 days applies for illnesses.
Exclusions
All pet insurance plans have limitations and exclusions. Medical Conditions that are noted, symptomatic or diagnosed prior to enrollment, or during a waiting period are pre-existing to Coverage and not eligible for reimbursement.
All Accident & Illness policies are underwritten upfront so pet owners are aware of any pre-existing conditions that will not be covered prior to making a claim.
