Pets Best is very easy to work with

Pets Best is very easy to work with. Their turn around time on claims is very reasonable and once my deductible has been met for the year I have had no issues getting my claims paid at the maximum amount. My most recent experience they paid 90% of my $700 surgery my puppy had to have to repair an ear hematoma that non-surgical options were not fixing.

Charlie <3

I lost a dear companion about a month ago, the trauma and grief that accompanies that is overwhelming. Thankfully we were able to give Charlie his best bet by having Pets Best, we felt secure in having that financial assistance throughout his process. After Charlie’s passing, Pets Best made it very easy to fill out my claim. They handled everything in a timely manner. When I did call customer service to inquire about a couple concerns I had, they were answered thoughtfully, the rep did her best to get me answers, but most importantly she showed me so much empathy. She was kind and offered words of encouragement regarding my situation. I am going to enroll all of my pets on Pets Best. They are phenomenal!

They were a godsend for our fur baby!

I've had pets best for going on 3 years now but have only really used them for the first time this year. My experience has been positive so far! We fell into some issues with my sweet girl that seemed to just snow ball from one issue to another. I had to put in several claims over the course of this year to cover tests and procedures, and Pets Best paid them all out to me aside from the copay, deductible and the small things they dont cover that i knew about. My insurance was for 90% coverage. The claim speed can vary. Some claims take longer at times. I think the most i had to wait was about 5 weeks, and that was in part due to my vet being slow on documents. The fastest was in 1 week. In the end, they covered the expensive care and tests and for that I'm so very grateful!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
