I don't know what I would do without Pets Best

I don't know what I would do without Pets Best insurance when my dog was diagnosed with cardiac failure. I am on a tight budget and would have to decide whether to pay rent or save my dog. She has ongoing medical problems and needs to be on medication for the rest of her life. Without them I would either be homeless or have to put my dog down. They have been pretty quick with reimbursement so that I still have money for other necessary bills.

I submitted 2 claims for my dogs last…

I submitted 2 claims for my dogs last week and within a few days they were processed. I was sent a full explanation of the benefits that were provided. I was very pleased with the quick turnaround time.

Pets Worse

Don’t expect them to pay out anything and if they do it will be significantly less than what It should be. After canceling my service and receiving a confirmation email they continue to charge my card

Highly Satisfactory Wellness Coverage

Combining wellness package with a high deductible injury policy provides good coverage for what we are most likely to need while protecting against catastrophe. I already got back more money and a greater percentage of what I paid than i did in full year with another carrier. Very happy. I did a lot of research and I highly recommend Pets Best.

I’ve been with Pet’s Best since 2018

I’ve been with Pet’s Best since 2018. Two dogs are covered. It’s worth every penny. Insurance is a MUST and I’m lucky to have found them after a lot of research. They literally encourage me to get the treatment I need for my dogs despite my guilt in what it costs. Their 24/7 Whisker’s Help Line has been useful for medical advice as well. Their app is helpful and makes everything easy to submit and keep track of. Since COVID, it has taken a bit longer to get paid but that’s post COVID life I guess.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
