Very easy and effortless app to use

Very easy and effortless app to use, clear instructions, and great communication. It took a little longer than expected, but I had entered the information incorrectly, and Pets Best made the corrections that were needed. Excellent experience all around.

My 4 year old German Shepard got sick…

My 4 year old German Shepard got sick suddenly and we ended up with a pretty big vet bill. The claim process could not have been any easier. I went onto the website, filled out the info and uploaded my bill and that was it! A few days later they sent me an approval email with a breakdown of all that was covered. I should have a check in 5 - 7 days! I'm happy to know that there is no hassle and they are there if and when I need them:)

Highly recommend this insurance

Highly recommend this insurance. They covered my dogs accident and three surgeries. They pay for monthly meds and vaccines. Do it! Get your dog health insurance, you’ll need it trust me!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
