Professional and thorough

It is truly peace of mind when you have a pet of any kind to know that the help you receive from your pet policy is there for you. The process of submitting a claim is very easy and straightforward. The key is meeting your deductible first like any policy. I would recommend this insurance to anyone!!

Excellent as Usual

We have always used Pets Best for our dog insurance. Now we have a new puppy, and had to have his wellness check up. I submitted the bill to Pets Best and in less than a week we had most of the money paid back. The only items not covered were those that were not part of the wellness check up and go against my deductible. I am very happy with the service we received. I do recommend Pets Best.

Pet's Best is a SCAM!

Paid almost $1400 over 3 years for Pet's Best insurance and wellness coverage... dog is a Morkie only 4 years old. I submitted many claims that were denied (lots of stupid excuses) and ended up only being reimbursed around $400. Last year, rate was $280 (I dropped most of the wellness)... this year $390... it's a scam!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
