They are scam

They are scam! They have denied all of our claims. Everything falls under the "pre-existing condition" They pay out nothing! Do NOT get their insurance!!!

It was my first time using

It was my first time using the insurance, all feedback was that my dog had a pre existing condition and because of that no refund would be allowed. The problem is the thing my dog has is not pre existing, we were actually doing all the exams and procedures to figure out what he has (ends out it's nothing). I'm paying for something that is not helping at all! I'll wait for one next experience, but if turns out again the same answer for sure I'll look for a better insurance.

Rip off

Trash. I cancelled 6 months ago. My bad for not reading my discover card bill and seeing sooner. Or saving cancel confirmation. So no refund. They are shady. Go somewhere else!

Worst insurance experience ever

Worst insurance experience ever. Our dog had a skin infection that we had treated. They tried to claim it was the same as an ear infection she had 9 months ago when we first adopted her stating it is a pre existing condition and not covered. Appealing it since it is obvious that a skin infection is different than an ear infection and now they want me to send in the last 2.5 years of medical records for her. We have only had her for 9 months and provided all the information we had when we adopted her. They will do anything possible not to cover any bills you have related to your pets health.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
