Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

I have had to use my policy for each of my pets a few times. Each time the process has been painless, fair and fast. I’m so grateful for the coverage and peace of mind I get from having these policies and I am extremely satisfied with how the claims are handled!

The claims are processed in a timely manner as well as payment. It is so easy to submit a claim online.

My rescue dog (Jazzy) has had a lot of medical issues since her rescue and Pets Best has been wonderful in paying their portion of her Vet Bills in a timely manner. This is the first Health Ins. for any pet that I have had over the years and so pleased with Pets Best and highly recommended. I have recommended Pets Best to quite a few dog walkers in my community.

2/28 Edit: they give the most pitiful and laughable responses to critical reviews with legitimate concerns. Absolutely no company accountability about the error in their own UI and misleading information to their customers. Avoid this company like the plague - read the critical reviews and go elsewhere. I found way better insurance with better customer service and more comprehensive coverage with Lemonade. Pets best sucks their customer service is atrocious. I cancelled my policy on the app and removed my foster dog. They claim they didn’t receive it when I updated status for the dog to be not owned anymore and they made me pay for over two months of premium for a dog that I did not have. The representative Alex on the phone was absolutely unhelpful she straight away said there was nothing she would do. They wouldn’t back date or refund my money, they absolutely could have made an accommodation for their terrible app and membership experience. I immediately asked her to cancel for my dog Athena and the foster dog that was adopted out end of October beginning Nov. Alex seriously needs to be given some coaching and training on actually being a better service professional. I am in support and service and I know more could have been done especially given that I have been a customer for a long time. All they care about is their money not about pet care or their own customers. If they actually cared they would have considered their own UI/UX error and made steps to correct. Instead their rep alex doubled down and said there was nothing to be done. Abhorrent experience. Will never recommend to any of my family friends or network for their pet insurance needs. If you’re considering petsbest, go elsewhere. Read through the critical reviews here, and the laughable responses from the company. They legitimately do not care. I found way cheaper insurance with much more comprehensive coverage with another company within the hour after cancelling PetsBest. Never looking back.

Easy to request reimbursement; quick payments; automatic renewals. Having this insurance helps reduce my stress when my hyperactive dog inevitably hurts herself. It also helps me feel like I can ensure she gets quality medical care when needed, without having to stress about my bank account.
