Friendly

Friendly, knowledgeful people. My only concern it does seem to take them a long time to deposit your funds. But, I would still recommend Pets Best.

Simple Claim Forms with no Delay in claim Paid!

Super easy claim forms I completed in less than 10 minutes and immediately submitted before leaving the Veterinary Office. Prompt reimbursement of my wellness claim and directly paid to my bank account, no waiting for the mail.

Pets Best is the real deal!

Pets Best insurance is the real deal. We first got Pets Best several years ago with our first Maltese. She unexpectedly passed away last august and they were courteous, considerate and very prompt in paying all her hospital bills. Now we have Pets Best on our two present Maltese and they quickly and professionally paid for their part of their wellness checks. They have quick turnarounds and I’d recommend them to anyone who is looking for a dependable insurance company for their pets.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
