Very Satisfied Customer ;)

My poor cat has suffered from a terrible illness. Having this insurance has been a great peace of mind for me to not have to worry about paying huge bills for his care. Most of the time I easily submit my claims online, but the few times I have had to call and speak to a representative they were very nice and truly seemed to care about the wellness of my pet.

Outstanding Service - No Surprises

This was my first time having pet insurance and I was a little unsure if it was really worth it and how it would work if I did have to submit a claim. Unfortunately, I did have to make a claim and Pets Best was the BEST! It was easy to submit the claim, it worked exactly as it said it would work, and there were no surprises. I would highly recommend Pets Best Insurance to anyone with a pet. Outstanding service.

Horrible customer service

Don't waste your time and money on this company. Their coverage may seem good but the customer service is shockingly bad. They took 2-3 weeks to reply one email, with no intent to help you. The email customer service was like a robot whose only job is to keep asking for more documentation even when it makes zero sense. And when I complained to them about this and said if my issue wasn't addressed I'll switch to another insurance company, they didn't bother to reply me. So I switched. Luckily I got out early and escaped them after only paying two months of premiums. This company either cares zero about it's customer, or has extremely poorly trained customer service.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
