Good service but…..

Expedited claim efficiently but had to gather medical records from my vet on my own. Was unaware there were co-pays for pet insurance . Thought I would get 90% of bill when deductible met but they deduct co-pays as well.

Wellness claim

I love how easy it is to file a claim and receive payment. I recently had my dog in for her yearly exam. To submit a claim, I just uploaded a copy of my receipt online. I immediately received confirmation the the claim was received. In less than a week I received an email notice that my claim was approved. I received a check a few days later (would have been faster if I set up direct deposit). No issues, no questions from the company wanting additional paperwork.

My Precious Mandy

"I rescued Mandy at 1 1/2 years old. I had dogs all my life but never such a large one, she is a beautiful Great Pyrenees Golden Mix, so I thought it would be wise to get insurance. My thoughts were may hip dysplasia down the road or other aliments a large dog may encounter. Now several years later, if that were only the case....my precious girl at only 5 years old was diagnosed with mast cell malignant tumors. If I had not had insurance, I don't know how I could have done all this. Pet's Best has come through 100%. I am so grateful to them. Coverage has been outstanding, and I have been given extra time with my precious girl."

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
