I Took My Dog Into The Vet To Che...

I took my dog into the vet to check on her sluggish behavior. The vet said he thinks she might have a thyroid condition so we are working to get that treated. Petsbest reimbursed me quickly which helps relieve the stress of taking my dogs to the vet.

Our German Shepherd Was Diagnosed...

Our German Shepherd was diagnosed with prostate cancer in September 2016 .Pets Best has been with us throughout the entire journey and we are pleased to say Granite's cancer is in remission.All payments have been promptly reimbursed with no hassle whatsoever.

Overall Was Good. Thought Some Of...

Overall was good. Thought some of the diagnostic testing should have been covered. Reason for thinking this is Nala had just been in for her yearly exam w this testing. I provided this documentation w the claim but it didn't seem to make a difference.

Having A Dog Who Started Out With...

Having a dog who started out with a sore toe, that ended up needing that toe removed, then ended up being cancer, was a frightening journey. It was a less stressful journey knowing that we had PetsBest backing us up, and we could make the decisions that were best for Morgan without worrying about the financial end of the picture. Claims were so easy - just a quick upload - and the reimbursements came back within a week each time. Thank you for helping with a little peace of mind for us. Morgan is healing and cancer-free!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
