BIG Waste of money

After paying $155 a month for 2 dogs for the past couple of years, my little one had to have a NON-routine dental procedure with 9 extractions. All the money I've been paying for pet insurance was akin to flushing it down the toilet as Pets Best denied my claim, paying absolutely nothing! Biggest rip off I've ever experienced.

Awesome services

First let me start off and say Pets Best is awesome! From initial enrollment to processing of my claims, you name it. I have the illness, accident and wellness plans for my furbabies. While I did not utilize the accident or illness plans (and I always hope not too!!!), I have utilized the Wellness Benefit for the yearly evaluations, vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick preventions and submitted them the same day for processing. It was super easy, took a picture of the invoice, uploaded on the website - through the app, DONE!! 😃 In less than 24 hours (actually it was less than 12 hours), they processed my claim, provided me with an EOB (Explanation of Benefits) and it will be directly deposited in my bank account of record. I never saw such wonderful and compassionate service! Vets bills are not cheap. Any help you can get is wonderful. Knowing they process these effectively so you can provide the best care for your furbabies is such a relief and provides peace of mind. I greatly encourage anyone looking for pet insurance for their furbaby, who is a part of your family, look no further than Pets Best. And I can say their prices are reasonable. I was able to insure my 10 year old doggie, with no problems. Knowing I have that for her and my other furbabies, that I can provide care to them, with no issues or concerns, provides me with such relief! Omg! Pets Best is the best. 24hour reimbursements. I submitted a claim for my fur babies flea and heart worm medicine. Less than 24 hours later, I received an approval email. Thank you Pets best!!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
