If there was a rating higher than 10, I would have selected it!!!!!

If there was a number higher than 10, I would have selected it. Pets Best is by far the best insurance company I have EVER dealt with, human, auto or pet. Claim process is easy, explanation of benefits is clear and concise. Payments are prompt and automatically deposited into my account. My pet Bubba had tail amputation surgery, spinal issues, melanoma surgery and treatment. Pets best covered all of his needs and a Pets Best Customer Service Rep even did research for me to see if my pets treatment would be covered. Can't say enough about them. I would never use or recommend anyone else!!! Thanks Pets Best!

I have been with PetsBest since 2015. Unfortunately, my Golden Maxx has had numerous health issues during the past 12 months. PetsBest has processed my many claims in a timely manner. Also, just as important, their Customer Service is excellent. They notify me via email, and occasionally via telephone call (when they need clarification) of the status of my claim. Their employees are always so courteous, professional and just plain nice. Great company... I recommend them without reservation to my friends who inquire about having pet insurance.

No hassle, quick response, would definitely recommend.

I have had many pets over the years, but have never purchased pet insurance. A couple years ago, my dog Jake ate a corncob. The experience cost me lots of money. When we rescued Baxter 6 months ago, I decided to get Pet insurance. I did a lot of investigating and decided upon Pets Best. Unfortunately, on Christmas eve, Baxter started vomiting. I took him to the emergency vet where he spent the night. He had ingested a cat toy, that he eventually passed. I submitted all of the invoices and bills, and here it is New Years eve, and I already have an email stating that they will be reimbursing me according to the policy for my vet bills. Amazing..I never dreamed it could be so easy and hassle free. Baxter is fine, and thanks to Pets Best for reimbursing me for the cost of keeping him healthy. I definitely recommend Pets Best insurance.

Is this the same company?

I read ALOT of these reviews and am wondering -- is this the same company I used? I am so confused but would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. My lab is 6 and was diagnosed with Horner's Syndrome. After a week and a half, it was 'denied as not covered.' She is a totally healthy pooch and this is why I bought it. Paid about 4500 in her 6 years - so after no reason why, just denied... I cancelled it... Maybe we don't have the same company... And yes, I did have good coverage...

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
