Good customer service!

I have been using Pets Best for a couple years now. The only thing is you have to pay up front and then are reimbursed but I think all pet insurance is that way. They have helped me a ton. It's important to know that you can take care of those you love most. If you are looking for insurance w/ good customer service and to have your claim processed in a timely manner, Pets Best is a good choice.

Taking the Worry Out of Keeping Scooter well

Claims were paid fast, efficiently and exactly according to the terms of the policy. Comforting to know that with all the other aspects of Scooter's diabetes, this is not one we need worry about.

The BEST PET INSURANCE COMPANY

I've had to use my insurance so many times stomach issues or thinking he ate something he shouldn't When I call Pets Best to ask questions they are so nice and helpful and make you feel like part of a family. The truly care about how your best is doing . When I file a claim, it's processed fast and I get an email stating it's going into my checking account. I highly recommend this company. Can't say enough good things about them....

This is our first experience with pet…

This is our first experience with pet insurance after being lifelong dog parents. We have filed claims for our new puppies (on the drive home from the vet’s office) that were processed within 24 hours and we had the reimbursement within 48. It was so easy! We are thrilled with the coverage and although we hope to never use it for more than yearly visits, this is the best decision we’ve made since bringing eight new paws into our family!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
