Best Decision

From my initial search, enrolling and claim, this has been the best experience. So happy that I selected Pets Best for my new puppy. It gives me peace of mind knowing he has this coverage.

So far not worth the money

I filed two claims so far, both for under $100. It's been 30 days for one and almost 20 for the other. Still no reimbursement. I've called atleast 3 times and have been put on hold. I still have no information and no closer to getting reimbursed. I maybe looking for a new pet insurance company

Very happy with Pets Best

Im new to this pet insurance thing. I didnt even think about getting one for my puppy. But thinking about all the expenses im going to shoulder through his puppy years, ive decided to get him insurance. His first visit to his vet costs $121 and we got a 90% reimbursement after a few days. I am not regretting getting him this insurance. Pets Best is better than some health insurance for humans. For real.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
