Easy online claim process.

I took my dog to the emergency vet after he ate two corn cobs. I filed the claim on line. The process was easy. O received payment in a timely manner. I was very pleased.

Pets Best allowed us to get the necessary care for our boys.

We signed up with Pets Best thinking we'd probably need to make a claim once our boys got older. We thought we were just being proactive for later on in life. We certainly didn't think a year later we'd find ourselves needing life saving emergency surgery for one of them. However, that is exactly what happened and we are so grateful we had Pets Best to help us. The claim process was so simple and straightforward. We were given an estimated timeline and information on what we could expect next after the claim was filled. Within 7 days our reimbursement was deposited into our bank. Knowing that we were able to financially provide the best care available for our boy during his time of crisis was priceless.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
